Hi, my name is Masumi. I have been specializing in natural nail care for over 28 years.

 

I started my nail career in okinawa , Japan, where I first discovered my passion for healthy, beautiful nails. Growing up, I always wanted to grow my own nails long, but they would break easily and never seemed to grow evenly. Later, I discovered nail enhancements like acrylics and long tips, but I realized they were not truly helping natural nails become healthy and strong.

 

More than 23 years ago, I moved to the Washington, DC area and began focusing exclusively on natural nail care. Since then, I have dedicated my career to helping clients grow and maintain healthy nails while also providing relaxing pedicure and foot care services.

 

In 2021, I made the exciting decision to open my own salon and I have never looked back. I truly enjoy building long-term relationships with my clients. Even when some clients move away, many return to visit for services, which makes me so happy to reconnect with them again.

 

One of my Specialty is gel system for non-invasive toenail correction using professional gel systems designed to gently flatten, and reshape curved nails. These treatments help relieve pressure and discomfort, flattening nail bed and support healthier nail growth while maintaining a clean, natural-looking finish. Results are long-lasting with regular maintenance care. To learn this advanced technique, I traveled back to Japan to attend specialized training classes. The results have been amazing, and this treatment is still not widely available in salons across the United States.

 

I love continuing to learn new techniques, products, and innovations in natural nail care. Ongoing education is very important to me so I can continue offering the best possible services to my clients.

 

My goal is to create a relaxing, comfortable, and stress-free experience for every guest. I provide one-on-one attention in a calm and welcoming space where you can truly unwind.
